Every after five years farmers through their leaders conduct consultations in several parts of the country where their views were collected, reviewed, documented, analyzed and prioritized using a number of data collection methods like questionnaires, key informant interviews, radio talk shows and focused group discussions to give direction of what needs to be supported by the incoming government and political leaders.
Since February 2020, the federation and partners have been working closely to organize their voices into one strong farmer’s voice called the Farmers Manifesto 2021-2026. This is the second of its kind following the one of 2016-2020.
