Happening now at Uganda National Farmers Federation is the closing meeting of the Pesticide Use , Health and Environment( PHE) project . This project has been implemented in the 17 members of the Federation particularly the District Farmers Associations. These include ; Nebbi, Adjuman, Kitgum, Gulu, Kapchorwa, Kumi, Pallisa, Budaka,Bugiri,Kayunga,Wakiso,Sembabule,Rakai,Ntungamo,Bushenyi,Kamwenge, and Masindi DFAs. The project has facilitated a lot of documentation studies on farmer pesticide use, sensitization campaigns, trainings, radio talk shows , expos & conferences all purposed to proper farmer pesticide use , food safety & environmental conservation. This great work has been done in partnership with the #Uganda National Association of Community and Occupational Health ( UNACOH).
