The activity was aimed at understanding the impact of ICT and digitization on smallholder farmers, ICT4Farmers services were used as the benchmark and case study in the Ugandan context, an overview of the different services that ICT4farmers offers to the farmers and other value chain actors which include (The Farmers Toll free call Centre, the E-Agriculture academy, the ICT4Farmers mobile app and web dashboard) these were presented on the first day of the stakeholder’s engagement. The stakeholders involved in this activity were the team from Universal Communications Services Access Fund from Tanzania, Uganda Communications Commission (UCC), The Uganda National Farmers Federation (UNFFE) and Eight Tech Consults (8Tech). The presentation of the overview of the ICT4Farmers services was done on the 4th of July at the head offices of the UNFFE in Nakasero while the engagement with the farmers was done on the 5th July 2022 in Kiboga, at the District farmers associations offices.
